The Great Charter School Debate

I decided to do a finished version of yesterday's sketch. I'm not sure about the pitcher of Coke, but otherwise I think it looks okay.

Drinking Liberally "Debate"

A little visual reporting of the events at the Seattle Drinking Liberally this evening. Recording a rather heated debate between Chris Mitchell and Stephen Schwartz the topic was the viability of charter schools in the Seattle School System. Feel free to critique but keep in mind that it is a little tricky drawing moving targets.

Friday Museum Sketches

Alright for this week's sketch we have a statue of Saint Luke the Evangelist at the Seattle Art Museum done in fifteenth century Brussels. This one of my favorite pieces at the museum. It has a forced perspective that makes it very difficult to get right despite several attempts at sketching it. This one is probably as close as I've gotten to a decent representation.

You Remember Me?

Today's Strip

Richard's talking about the Fundraiser which culminates in this. When I first wrote that storyline the notes after that point read "and then Brian REALLY screws up" But when I finally got to that point I couldn't for the life of me think of anything. I decided to treat it like a noodle incident scenario. Having said that it's fun to drop hints about what could have happened.
